Low Cost Multi Punching Machine - Various applications

The illustration shows a typical multi-punch custom built air-hydraulic punching machine which can be applied to many industries and many types of products. Here the machine is designed for, and being tested for the punching of draught excluders. Each tool can develop 2,7 tonnes and will work at the minimum centres of 50,0mm. Maximum diameter of the tools shown is 14,0mm diameter in metal thickness that requires no more than 2,5 tonnes to punch. (ref tonnage calculation).

A typical round tube punching tool which utilises a mandrel die to prevent deformation of the tube during the punching operation.

The tools shown above form part of a custom built tube punching machine for an office furniture manufacturer. In the foreground a hydraulic punching tool is fitted with a mandrel die to suit 50mm diameter steel tube and to punch the hole without deformation inside the tube.
