Palisade Horizontal Rail Punching Machine - 19 tool Stations
Punching 6mm thick angle iron 50mm x 50mm with 17 holes and two end slots. The punched angles are the horizontal fixing rails for 'palisade' steel security fencing.

The machine above is the latest of a long line of established palisade horizontal rail punching machines - manufactured in this instance for a fencing manufacturer in the Republic of Ireland. The machine punches 17 round holes and a slot at each end of 50 x 50 x 6mm mild steel angle iron rails - ready for the fixings of vertical pales which are roll formed on a separate machine. The punch cycle is about 3 seconds plus the operator loading time.

The image at the right hand side is a hydraulic tube punching tool to suit 120 x 40mm rectangular steel tube. The punched hole is to suit an aluminium extrusion of the shape shown. The hole is burr and deformation free enhanced by the use of an internal precision mandrel which carries a replaceable die insert
